Community Service on Thursday Nights

"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'"  Matthew 25: 40

The HRC family is very blessed to have the opportunity to serve nearby homeless communities once or twice a month.  We meet at the HRC hall and prepare "Care Bags."  These bags typically include sandwiches (which we assemble the night of distribution), snacks, water, toiletries, blankets, and Bibles.  All of us, including Fr. Cyril, then pack up into cars and head to Venice where we serve our brethren in need.

Very importantly, we also take the time to talk and pray with the people we meet, which, oftentimes, seems more valuable than the goodies we hand out. It is a very big blessing to everyone who participates and all are encouraged to join (children should be accompanied by parents).

If you wish to donate supplies and items for the care bags for this service, please contact Raymond Azab at
